Valerie Niemeyer is a Seattle-based author illustrator. She earned a BA in art from the University of Washington in 2016, and is currently working on her MFT with an Art Therapy specialization from Antioch University. Her work is heavily inspired by the beautiful nature that surrounds her and her childhood obsession with fairies and woodland creatures. She is represented by Eve at Red Fox Literary.
