Congratulations, Alisha!
Alisha Gabriel has been awarded the 2023 American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS)/Subaru Book Prize for Excellence in Science Books for her middle grade non-fiction book: Funky Fungi: 30 Activities for Exploring Molds, Mushrooms, Lichens, and More, co-authored with Sue Heavenrich. The book was published in June 2022 by Chicago Review Press and won in the hands-on category.
