It is time to bring Caribbean mythology to the forefront of our stories, for our children - in words and in our illustrations. We have a rich and diverse history of oral story-telling, as well as new and captivating characters that are waiting to be shaped and molded for today's minds. I encourage you to write about Caribbean Folklore and the splendor of what is so uniquely ours. As writers and illustrators we can re-create our tales for today's audiences and I look forward to seeing what happens when we let our imagination overflow. Marsha Gomes-Mckie RA
