Meet Your New Co-Author, Generative AI 🤖

Forget about having ChatGPT and its friends, like Bard, Bing, LLaMA, Claude*, and others write your books for you. But these AI tools can still help you out in many amazing ways:

• Brainstorming: Writer’s block? Give the AI a few keywords or phrases to generate a list of potential ideas. Even if they’re not perfect, they’ll help spark your imagination and maybe send you in a fun new direction.
• Character creation: Need a minor character? Ask an AI. It can suggest character traits, backgrounds, and even names, so you can focus on getting back to writing.
• Feedback: Where else can you get instant feedback on writing style and grammar so you know what needs fixing most? Not as good as a human critique partner, but way faster. :)

These tools are all still under development, and it’s not always easy to get great results. But we’re kidlit writers—we’re nothing if not persistent! So keep trying, remember what works, and someday soon you’ll wonder how you ever got along without your friendly AI co-author.

תשכחו מזה ש-ChatGPT ופלטפורמות דומות כמו Bard, Bing, LLaMA, Claude* יכתבו עבורכם את הספרים. אבל הבינה המלאכותית היצירתית (ג'נרטיב AI) בכל זאת יכולה לעזור לכם בדרכים מדהימות רבות:

• סיעור מוחות: חסימת סופרים? תנו ל-AI כמה מילות מפתח או ביטויים כדי ליצור רשימה של רעיונות פוטנציאליים. גם אם הם לא מושלמים, הם יעזרו לכם להצית את הדמיון ואולי ישלחו אתכם לכיוון חדש וכיפי.
• יצירת דמות: צריך דמות משנית? שאלו את ה- AI. הוא יכול להציע תכונות אופי, רקעים ואפילו שמות לדמויות, כך שתוכלו לחזור להתמקד בכתיבה.
• משוב: איפה עוד תוכלו לקבל משוב מיידי על סגנון הכתיבה והדקדוק שלכם? אולי זה לא משתווה למשוב אנושי, אבל זה הרבה יותר מהר. :)



כל הכלים הללו עדיין בשלבי פיתוח, ולא תמיד קל להשיג תוצאות מצוינות. אבל אנחנו, סופרי ילדים - מעולים בהתמדה! אז תמשיכו לנסות, זכרו מה עובד, ויום אחד בקרוב תתהו איך הסתדרתם בלי שותפכם, סופר ה ה-AI הידידותי!
