Success Without Stress:

Insider Secrets to Marketing with Karen Chow and Sara Fujimura

Breakout Session Three - Aug 03, 2024 - 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM (PDT)

Whether you prefer a quieter, methodical approach to your writing business or love to experiment and innovate, we can help you tame the chaos so you can actually enjoy your debut year and beyond! Work smarter, not harder. We have developed a three-step interconnected marketing system that helps debut authors—and seasoned authors, too!—grow their businesses exponentially with the least amount of work. You will learn how to pitch your work with confidence, create opportunities for yourself, and become the Go-To Author in your community. You will receive examples of proven pitch and sales scripts that you can modify for your work. Finally, we will share marketing tips that have worked successfully in Arizona, Illinois, and Florida and discuss how to keep your career rolling no matter what life throws at you.

If you can't attend in real time, no worries. After the event, conference participants can watch replays of all the sessions and workshops.

* Did you know that you can belong to more than one SCBWI chapter? There is no additional fee, but you do need to select the additional chapter(s) on the SCBWI Member Home page. After being a member of the Arizona chapter for 20 years, Fujimura moved to Illinois in December 2022.
