Congratulations, Diane Phelps Budden on receiving a fantastic review from Kirkus

Diane's latest nonfiction picture book, "NEEDLE IN A HAYSTACK: HOW CLYDE W. TOMBAUGH FOUND AN AWESOME NEW WORLD," (art directed and designed by Tanja Bauerle) received a wonderful review from Kirkus Reviews. This news is certainly worthy of celebrating.

Congratulations, Kim Tomsic on the success of your book The Elephants Come Home

Kim Tomsic and Hadley Hooper's book The Elephants Come Home has won the California Young Readers Medal in the category of picture books for older readers. About the award: "The California Young Reader Medal program, established in 1974, introduces young readers in California to a variety of book genres and formats, gives them an opportunity to honor their favorite books and authors, and develops and cultivates a love of recreational reading." Nearly half a million students participated in the California Young Medal Reader program this year, reading and voting on the nominated books.
