The Midlands social event took place on Saturday 1st April 2023 from 11 am -1 pm in Edgeworthstown library, Co. Longford. This meeting was specifically about putting together another anthology of stories and poems for children. In 2019 people who had attended the SCBWI social events in Longford had published an anthology called, ‘Quirky Tales’. Now people are interested in doing a Quirky Tales 2. The group had started discussing this at their last meeting in October 2022. They settled down with cups of coffee or tea and an array of cakes brought by many and listened to various stories and poems. Everyone enjoyed what was read and gave great feedback.
