Writing Early Readers That Kids Want to Read with Kiah Thomas

November 19, 2026 (6:00-7:15pm Mountain Time) Early readers are deceptively simple. They need to be achievable for a new reader to decode… but not at the expense of the story! In this hour-long webinar, author Kiah Thomas will talk you through the process of creating the Lone Wolf series, look at the structure of early readers (what works and what doesn’t), and give tips and tricks for writing early readers that kids remember. *This event is made possible by a grant from SCBWI and the Authors Coalition of America.
