SCBWI ATX Scholarship

The ATX SCBWI Scholarship is a newly created scholarship that includes a one year SCBWI membership and attendance to all webinars for the remainder of 2025. This scholarship is intended to assist Texas authors or illustrators who want to pursue a career creating books for kids or teens and have a financial need and/or come from historically underrepresented communities. Apply by February 28, 2025!

The recipient receives:

• One year membership to SCBWI (or a membership extension if the recipient is already a member)
• Access to the 7+ 2025 webinars (March-December)

Eligibility

Members and non-members in Texas are eligible.
