Join us at our monthly regional meeting for a special event: PAL (published & listed) author Lori Mortensen will share the stories behind some of her most popular picture books, including: ARLO DRAWS AN OCTOPUS; COWPOKE CLYDE AND DIRTY DAWG; NONSENSE! THE CURIOUS STORY OF EDWARD GOREY. * * * * * Lori will discuss where authors get their ideas from, how they develop them into published books, and how long that journey might take. * * * * * Lori is a prolific author, a picture book contest judge, and a writing instructor for the Institute of Children’s Literature (ICL) for 20 years.
