Formerly on faculty at the Maryland Institute College of Art, and VP of the Society Illustrators of Los Angeles, Jaime is the author/illustrator of several books including The Truth About Dragons. It's time to get together, illustrators! It's been a busy year, and I'd love to reconnect with familiar faces, welcome some new ones, and hear what everyone has been up to. Whether you're fresh from our annual Writers & Illustrators event or have been part of our illustration community for years, I hope you'll join us!

This month's mingle will be a relaxed, informal roundtable where we can catch up, share what we're working on, and talk about where we are in our creative journeys. What's inspiring you lately? What challenges are you navigating? How are you feeling about the illustration market? Whether you're just getting started, building your portfolio, or well into your career, we'd love to hear your perspective.

I'd also love to hear what you'd like to see from our illustrator community moving forward!

Are there topics you'd like us to explore, guest speakers you'd love to hear from, or events and opportunities you'd be excited about?

More online gatherings? An in-person meetup? Portfolio discussions? Let's brainstorm together and see where our interests take us.

Mostly, this is a chance to reconnect, exchange ideas, and enjoy some time with fellow illustrators. No preparation needed—just bring yourself and your ideas!
