We are so glad you're here! With programming organized and run by volunteers, we offer free monthly meetings, online workshops, local get-togethers, and an annual virtual Critique-a-Palooza. SCBWI Florida is dedicated to supporting children's book writers, illustrators, and translators, and the SCBWI writing community based in the Florida area. Feeling uninspired? Stuck in a creative rut? Join us in a Zoom creating session open to anyone, where you can work on your individual project(s) for an hour with other authors and illustrators. This session is designed as an open-ended, in-and-out style meeting, so feel free to drop in and out at any point! Power Hours will take place at 8:00 PM EST, the third Monday of every other month (our next session will be July 20th, 2026).
