Masthead Design Brief: Community Garden

We invite SCBWI-IL members to create a masthead for the Fall Harvest. Your illustration will help set the tone for the event!

Objective: Create an illustration inspired by the theme "Community Garden." Please include the title of the event, "2025 Community Gardens: Fall Harvest," in your artwork.

The chosen masthead will be used in all promotions for the 2025 Fall Harvest, including various social media platforms. The illustrator of the winning design will be credited wherever the masthead is used to promote the event.



PRIZE: The winning illustrator will receive one online attendance to the 2025 Fall Harvest conference, which includes two workshops led by Mary Cummings, a live panel, social networking, and post-event submission opportunities.

Entry must be uploaded to our DROPBOX by 11:59 pm on June 2nd, 2025. Late submissions will not be accepted.

All entries will be showcased in a newsletter gallery or Google Form and will be voted on by fellow SCBWI Illinois members. Voting will occur from June 5th through June 10th. The winner will be announced on June 18th, 2025.
