SCBWI MMW 2024 Work in Progress Scholarship for One Early Bird Registration
(does not include extras such as critiques, portfolio reviews, etc.)
Eligibility Requirements:
- Writer or illustrator
- Must attend the conference
- Pre-published in the children’s book industry
- Self-identifies as belonging to a marginalized group whose voice has been historically underrepresented in publishing
- SCBWI membership is not required
- Applicant must fill out the linked form that includes an essay answering the following question: What information and/or experiences do you hope to take away from SCBWI's Marvelous Midwest conference?
- The winner will not be announced publicly but the sponsor of this scholarship would like to briefly meet with the awardee at the conference.
