איה גורדון נוי, מאיירת זוכת פרסים, איירה עשרות ספרי ילדים שהתפרסמו בארץ ובעולם. בין ספריה: בכיסים של גילי, נונה קוראת מחשבות, שיר האלף בית, בדיוק כמו שרציתי, גמצוץ בגינה ועוד רבים אחרים. עובדת במגוון טכניקות, חפצים ומרקמים ויוצרת עולם מישחקי ופנטסטי המצית את הדמיון. אמא גאה לארבעה בנים ושתי כלבות, חיה ויוצרת בעין הוד. איה תדבר על תהליך היצירה שלה, תדגים תהליכי חשיבה ועבודה, משלב הסקיצה ועד לאיור המוגמר. חדוות היצירה, המרכיב הבסיסי של כל איור - איך משמרים אותה ואיך מעירים אותה מחדש בתקופות משבר. מחיר האירוע: 25$ , חברי פרימיום: 15$ יום ד' 25.2.2026 בשעה 20:00. האירוע יתקיים בזום בעברית. הקלטה תישלח לכל הנרשמים.ות ותהיה זמינה לצפייה במשך 30 יום.

Three different Purim board books, released on the same day by the same publisher! Three authors will show how they created fresh approaches for the Purim holiday that worked for different ages of toddlers and how you can apply those principles to finding new approaches for other holiday books. Varda Livney, Barbara Kimmel, and Nancy Churnin will be joined by a moderator from PJ Library, who will talk about why they acquired these books and PJ Library's wish list going forward.

Join our new English-speaking volunteer, Sara Kaltmann, for a monthly Tuesday evening "Writing Club". Each session will focus on a children’s book built around a theme or concept. We’ll explore what makes it special, respond to a related creative prompt, spend time writing, and finish with an open sharing session. The program is in English. To join, please join the WhatsApp group: the Zoom link and meeting dates will be shared there.
