We're actively looking for volunteers to help grow our regional children's literature experience. Not only can SCBWI help improve your craft, but getting involved as a volunteer can introduce you to more fellow children's lit creators and industry folks. Children's Publishing is a very small world. Who you meet today may help you connect in other ways tomorrow. Take the leap and join us as a volunteer.

Why Volunteer?
Volunteering is one of the best ways to get involved with your chapter, meet other members and connect with children's book authors, illustrators, book sellers and the whole industry.
How Much Time Do I Need to Commit?
On average, volunteers contribute about 3-4 hours a month, with some months being lighter or busier than others. Whatever role you choose, we hope you’ll feel empowered to take ownership and bring your ideas and initiative to it.
What Role Can I Help?
We'd like you to HELP US with what your strengths are. We're contemplating the following New Volunteer Coordinator Roles:
- Social media
- Monthly newsletter
- Website
- Critique group lead & moderating (virtual and/or in-person in my area)
- Conference volunteer (requires 1 day of in-person commitment)
- PAL (Published And Listed)
