Hi, My name is Cynthia and I’m forming a critique group in the Kent County area. I hope to attract serious writers and illustrators, from picture books to young adult. I would love to gather writers and illustrators interested in sharing their experiences, as well as their creative process while mastering their craft and supporting each other.

We are a small critique group that welcomes authors writing for children (PB, MG, YA, GN) in any genre with the goal of publication. We focus on giving and receiving supportive constructive criticism and feedback, affording each member equal time to share their work. Full manuscript critiques can be planned a month or two in advance. Meetings are held monthly on the third Tuesday in the evening (still over Zoom for now but looking forward to meeting in person again soon). THE SATURDAY CLUB (inspired by the Saturday club of authors that used to meet at The Parker Hotel in Boston) is an all day intensive writing group and gathering. It is located at THE STORY EMPORIUM in The Hope Artiste Village, 1005 Main Street - Suite 8216, Pawtucket RI. It is open for all chidren's writers for networking and critique. It is once a month.
