Illustrators Virtual Critique Group

Live Zoom Session: Saturday, May 16 | 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Join our monthly virtual meeting for a deep dive into craft! This event features a collaborative pre-critique process followed by a live group session to discuss feedback and growth.

How to Participate

To join the May session, you must participate in the pre-critique process.

Step 1: Email our Illustrator Coordinator, Rajashi Ghosh, at [email protected] to receive the official submission form.

Step 2: Submit your artwork and specific feedback questions via the form by May 10.

The Timeline

May 5–9: Request the submission form from the IC.
May 10: Last day to submit art for critique.
May 11: Submissions are sent out to the participating group.
May 14: Deadline for illustrators to submit their written feedback for peers.
May 16: Virtual Critique Group Zoom Session (2:00 pm – 4:00 pm).

The Process

Written Feedback: Every participating illustrator will provide one specific comment for each piece of art submitted, focusing on the feedback requested by the artist.
The Session: During the Zoom call, our moderator will introduce the artwork and summarize the collective feedback. Due to time constraints, artists will have the opportunity to ask one clarifying question to ensure they understand the suggestions.
Zoom Link: The link will be emailed to all participating illustrators prior to the session.
