La Jolla Riford Library Children's Illustration Show Featuring San Diego SCBWI Illistrators
The opening reception will be held on Jan. 5, 2025 from 2-5pm at The Riford Library, 7555 Draper Ave, La Jolla, CA 92037. The opening reception will include book sales and there will be a story reading day for kids and a STEAM activity day in conjunction with the show.
Our San Diego Chapter Illustrators are participating in a children’s illustration show at La Jolla Riford library Dec. 12, 2024-Feb. 24, 2025. It is an exciting opportunity for our illustrators to show off the amazing amount of talent we have in our chapter!

Our October 20th chapter social was HISTORIC — literally! We met up at the beautiful yellow old-train-station building, which is now Pannikin in Encinitas. Twelve members attended, making a fun group, mingling over coffee and pastries. Of special note was the gallery of illustrations on several walls and in the gift shop, featuring the playful art of our chapter member Julie Hampton, author and illustrator of BETTY BUILDS IT!
