Children's book author and scholar Megan Dowd Lambert provides an introduction to her Whole Book Approach, developed with The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art. Drawing on her book Reading Picture Books with Children. Megan provides tools for engaging young readers with the picture book as a visual art form and inspires authors and illustrators to use the Whole Book Approach as a lens for inspiring creative work.
