A Southern Breeze member for one year, Jen is the new local liaison for North Fulton County.

What do you enjoy about the role?

It feels good to contribute to the community and getting to know other writers.

Tell us a little about your writing

I am a graphic designer by trade, and have dabbled in life coaching through art, but being creative has always been my happy place. After taking time to raise my kids over the past 15 years, I am diving into writing and illustrating my own children's book.

What advice would you give to anyone considering volunteering in our region?

The writing community has some of the most open minded and welcoming folks, so don't be afraid to jump right in. You never know what fun might be brought into your life!
