Hi Amy. What are we celebrating with you?

I received the Promising Picture Book Scholarship for the KS/MO SCBWI region.

What does this opportunity mean to you?

This opportunity afforded me the opportunity to attend the fall conference for free. But, more importantly, it gave me confidence to keep pursuing my dream of publishing the stories and manuscripts I’ve written and shared with my students and peers for years. It also encouraged me to keep connecting with amazing individuals in writing communities which has been a blessing.
