Tell us a little about your writing

I have written for newspapers since 8th grade, and taught language arts for three years. I have worked with critique groups for many years and self-published a new adult novel in 2018. My first children’s book explains important new information about the lymphatic system, and I’m in the find-an-agent phase.

What advice would you give to anyone considering volunteering in our region?

Writing can be lonely work. We need constructive feedback and allies on our writer’s journeys. Find friendly co-workers through the SCBWI!
