Acquiring Editor, Marble Press
Bonnie Bader is an Acquisitions Editor for Marble Press, an independent, traditional, boutique publisher. Earlier in her career, she was an Editor at Scholastic and Golden Books, and later became the Associate Publisher at Penguin Young Readers, where she edited many best-selling series and created the Penguin Young Readers leveled-reading program. Bonnie is also the author of 60 books for young people, including 3 books in The Dodo series, and 6 books in the Who Was? series. When Bonnie isn't editing or writing, she enjoys visiting classrooms to share her love of children's books.
I am looking for books that will inspire children: books that will challenge their imagination and ignite their curiosity, books that make a difference, books that stand out because of their style and substance. I am interested in books that are honest and diverse, books that offer new perspectives and outside-the-box experiences. My interests are picture books, early readers, chapter books, early middle grade, graphic novels and nonfiction.
