Erica De Chavez Wong is a passionate Filipino American art director at HarperCollins Children's Books, where she designs diverse book formats, including the illustrated chapter book "Dungeons & Dragons' Dragon Academy: Clubhouse Chaos," the New York Times bestselling graphic novel series "FGTeeV Blasts Off!," and the APALA Picture Book Award Honor "Finding Papa." Beyond her day job, Erica shines as an author-illustrator, freelance designer, and visual storyteller. Interests

Erica hires artists and author-illustrators for board books, picture books, coloring books, illustrated middle grade chapter books, and graphic novels for all ages. I am open to reviewing artist portfolios that fit the aforementioned book formats. I will only review picture book and board book dummies with text laid out on top of sketches/sample color art and graphic novel pitches that include an outline, sample chapter manuscript, and 1-2 pages of final color sequential panel art samples. I do not review text-only manuscripts.
