Welcome to SCBWI Wales! We're one of the newest regions of SCBWI, having opened on 8 October 2025. We look forward to growing into a vital, welcoming community of writers, illustrators, and translators of children's books.

Because we are a new region, our site is currently under construction. Please continue to check here for new content and updates.

If you live in Wales, we invite you to opt-in to receive communications from us. To do this, go to your Member Home > My Profile > Edit My Profile. Scroll down the page to Manage Your SCBWI Regions, then click the arrow and choose Wales as your home region and to add it to your profile.

Once you opt-in, you’ll receive our email newsletters, notifications in your member news feed, and other communications that may interest you.

We also invite members outside Wales to follow us and receive our communications by following the same steps and choosing us from the list of regions to follow.
