"This book is funny, silly and full of family love." -Lior Zaltzman, deputy managing editor of Kveller

In this Passover picture book parody of Frankenstein, Vee, wants to win the school science fair and become the world's greatest scientist. When Vee's experiment succeeds, zany chaos ensues, and Vee is left to wrestle with some Frankenstein-size ethical dilemmas. Watch Vee take center stage in this exciting science fiction Passover adventure! A graphic picture book told entirely through comic bubbles, Frankenstein's Matzah invites young readers to join in the joy of Passover (and science!) by conducting their own Super Seder Science experiments. Frankenstein's Matzah is a 2025 Children's Book Council Grades 3-5 Teacher Favorite.

School Visit Information

  • For in person visits: I’ll read my picture book, Frankenstein’s Matzah: A Passover Parody. I’ll weave in the two science experiments that are in the story and we’ll do the experiments together to see how science connects within the story. After our final experiment, I’ll wrap up the story and dive into a story discussion about its themes and characters.
  • For virtual visits: I’ll read my picture book, Frankenstein’s Matzah: A Passover Parody. I’ll weave in the two science experiments that are in the story and present them to the class.
