Please bring the following:
- A folder for your schedule and handouts
- A notebook and pen/laptop for note taking
- If signed up for an intensive, look at the description on the Program page for what to bring
- Credit card, checks, or cash for the conference bookstore
- Your books to sell and some swag (like bookmarks) to hand out (must have pre-approval)
- A copy of the manuscript you are working on (there may be opportunities for informal critiques)
- Your portfolio if you're signed up for the Portfolio Showcase or a Portfolio Review
- Comfortable walking shoes (the sessions are spread among several buildings)
- Light sweater or jacket (in case conference rooms are chilly)
- Swag to exchange with others
- A refillable water bottle
- Shampoo and conditioner (not supplied in your room)
Note that SCBWI rules state that conference attendees must be 18 or older. Children cannot attend.
