Pre-Conference Critique Groups
Want some time to meet with members of your critique group IN-PERSON? Encourage members of your critique group to sign up for the conference. Meet with them on Thursday from 2 - 4 pm in the Brown Room. Make it an actual critique meeting or just a social time.
Area Meetups
The Wisconsin area coordinators have done a fantastic job of offering in-person and virtual events for writers and illustrators living close to you. Here is another opportunity to meet with others living in your area of Wisconsin. Meet new friends. Maybe form a new critique group. Meetings will take place on Thursday from 2 - 4. Look for more information in an email from your SCBWI Wisconsin area coordinator.
Ask Me Anything with Creatives
Join award-winning Liza Wiemer to ask any question about writing, illustrating, and publishing. A group of creatives experienced in these areas will meet with you in the Stansbury Room at 2:00 on Thursday. Come with lots of curiosity and questions.
Premium Member Book Sales
Here's your opportunity to sell your books to other SCBWI members. Set up your books in the Boehr Room to sell from 3 - 5 on Thursday. Bring along some swag and your best salesmanship skills. Tables will be provided.
Not published or don't want to sell your book? Come to browse or buy the books of fellow writers and illustrators. You will be amazed at what you find.

Saturday Closing Ceremony
Be sure to hang around for the conference closing ceremony. Awards will be given for the portfolio showcase and manuscript contest. Co-regional advisor, Joyce Uglow will announce new upcoming events in Wisconsin. This will be your final opportunity to say goodbye to old friends and get emails/contact information for new friends. The ceremony will be from 10:50 - 11:30 on Saturday morning.
