Join author and poet Eileen Meyer as she introduces you to rhyme and rhythm (or poetic meter) plus a wide range of poetic devices. A program for prose and poetry writers alike, Eileen will provide examples from over a dozen children’s picture books as she breaks down the mystery of poetic meters and highlights the use of poetic devices. Eileen Meyer
In her own words: "I'm an award-winning children's book author and poet. I love writing and creating stories for young readers. I especially enjoy spending time with kids during school visits, getting them excited about reading, and sharing valuable writing and research tips.
