**This event has been CANCELED.** Fall is right around the corner, and it’s time to get serious about writing and illustrating again! If you need a little time away from home to focus on your current WIP, we’ve got just the event for you: A weekend retreat at the beautiful Leadership Center in Aurora, Nebraska.
Just an hour west of Lincoln, our retreat will begin the afternoon of October 6th and will wrap up after lunch on the 8th.
The cost of registration covers meals, unlimited beverages, use of common areas, and outdoor activities. We have one large room reserved if you prefer to work in the company of others; this will also serve as a gathering space throughout the event. There will be ample writing/illustrating time with a few exercises to break the ice as well as a Saturday evening social. We hope to see you there!

Double: $110.00/night ($119.35 total per person for two nights)

This an opportunity for Nebraska writers and Illustrators to spend uninterrupted time working on their latest project and connecting with fellow writers. Peer critiques, brainstorming, and networking are all wrapped up in a fun, beautiful getaway.
Friday arrival: after 3:00 pm; supper is served at 5:30
