AD Assignment Review Session with Art Director Mariam Quraishi
The Art Director Assignment is a great way to experience live critiques of anonymous submissions and see the process and criterion this year's art director considers when reviewing illustrators' work as it would come across her desk. Choose and submit one entry. The critique will take place in the afternoon session. All are welcome to watch. Deadline for submission: September 12, 2026 Ms. Quraishi's Art Director's Assignment options are: Create a narrative scene where a character expresses joy OR Create night time scene. Consider the range of colour, how a character is lit distinctly at night and how mood can change with different lighting conditions
