The Bay Area Book Festival is an established literary event that highlights acclaimed authors and debut authors alike from the Bay Area and beyond. Family Day, which will focus on picture books, middle grade, and YA will take place on Saturday, May 4th. Register now to reserve a time slot at the SCBWI San Francisco/South booth. This opportunity is only available to current, premium PAL members from the San Francisco South region. We reserve the right to cancel your time slot if you do not meet this criteria.
If you intend to sell your books at our table, you must have the ability to collect your own payment. SCBWI San Francisco/South cannot accept payments for you.
UPDATE: The Berkeley Public Library is not requiring any special permits or licenses for authors to sell books at Family Day.
Table space will be limited - we will have an 8-foot table with 4 chairs at the table. Each author/illustrator will have about 2 feet of space to work with.
