Serious about improving your craft? SCBWI's regional events provide opportunities for professional growth and help you connect with a supportive, creative community.
We invite you to join other SCBWI San Francisco/South illustrators via Zoom to talk shop, share your work, and get feedback in a warm, friendly environment. Every first Saturday of the month.
SCBWI San Francisco South is proud to host many free monthly meetups for our regional members, thanks to our crew of dedicated volunteers. Check out our newsletter or email [email protected] for more information on any of these events. Please join the SCBWI SF/SOUTH regional team for the in-person, bi-annual Illustrator Day featuring our amazing faculty - illustrator Rob Sayegh Jr, agent Aliza Hoover, and art director Eugenia Yoh - as they discuss concept to creation - a deep dive into storytelling. This year we will also feature a bonus VIRTUAL pre-event featuring local illustrators Nena Hy-Boyer and Danielle Heitmuller, who discussed Preparation and Tips for Making a Great Portfolio on July 19, 2025. The recording of this virtual pre-event will be available to all registrants of Illustrator Day.
