SCBWI-MI 2026 Novel Mentorship

Eligibility:

• Must be a resident of Michigan.
• Must be a permium or preview member of SCBWI.
• Cannot have previously won a mentorship for novels.

NOTE: We will check resident status. If you register and are NOT a Michigan resident, your registration will be invalidated without a refund.

How to register:

• Click on the registration button shown above.
• Answer the question about residency, yes or no.
• Choose to register. 
• Pay the $55 fee.

After you register:

• You should receive an email confirming your registration. You can also find your confirmation under the "Events" section of your member homepage.
• After you register, you have until 11:59pm ET on January 11th to complete the Google Form that will be made available to you upon registration under the "Events" section of your member homepage. Failure to send the correctly formatted submission materials by the deadline or to follow submission instructions will invalidate your registration without a refund.
• The winner and runners-up will be announced by April 10, 2026.
• All registrants should expect to receive a critique of their submission by April 30, 2026.
