SCBWI-MI 2025 Illustration Mentorship

Eligibility:

1. Must be a resident of Michigan.
2. Must be a current member of SCBWI.
3. Cannot have previously won a mentorship for illustration.

NOTE: We will check resident status. If you register and are NOT a Michigan resident, your registration will be invalidated without a refund.

How to register:

1. Click on the registration button shown above.
2. Answer the question about residency, yes or no.
3. Choose to register. 
4. Pay the $55 fee.

After you register:

1. You should receive an email confirming (but not validating) your registration. You can also find your confirmation under the "Events" section of your member homepage.
2. After you register, you have 24 hours to email your illustrations and questionnaire answers (see submission instructions here) to the mentorship coordinator, Jay Whistler, at SCBWI.MI.Mentorship@gmail.com. Failure to send the correctly formatted submission materials by the deadline or to follow submission instructions will invalidate your registration without a refund.
3. The winner and runners-up will be announced by March 31, 2025.
4. All registrants should expect to receive a critique of their submission by April 30, 2025.
