Webinar Description: Join Kelly Pelsue of Morgan Gaynin, a boutique agency specializing in publishing, as she shares her professional expertise as an agent and as a mentor for Theispot Mentorship Program, a program that guides artists in how to build their business as an illustrator. She’ll cover ways to think about your portfolio and online presence from a marketing perspective and share other business insights and need-to-knows in the publishing space.

RECORDING
The webinar will be recorded, and the recording will be available for one month following the event. Attendees will receive a link and a password by email about two days after the event.
REGISTRATION CONFIRMATIONS
Upon completion of payment, you will receive a payment confirmation by email. You will also find a registration confirmation on the website that will include event-specific details. Go to your Member Home and click on My Events under the black bar at the top of the page. All events you have registered will be displayed on this page. If there are additional meeting details (i.e. Zoom links for virtual events or materials required for the event), this information will be found under the green Meeting Info button.

Meet the Faculty
About Kelly
Kelly Pelsue is an Illustration Agent and the Managing Director of Morgan Gaynin, an illustration agency focused on visual storytelling, specializing in publishing. Prior to joining Morgan Gaynin, Kelly served in a number of marketing and advertising roles across several advertising agencies as well as in a startup setting. She earned her BA in Journalism and Communication from The University of Wisconsin – Madison.

For all submissions, please include your name on every page of your work as a header or a footer, as well as identifying information on portfolio image one/PB dummy page 1: first & last name, email address, as well as title & genre if applicable.
- For Illustration Portfolios: Please send six portfolio-ready illustrations as a .jpg or .png file (5 MB max).
- For Picture Book dummies (PB): Please send entire manuscript or dummy and a 1- to 2-sentence pitch (in the same document).
