About Mike

Mike Malbrough broke into the industry in 2017 with his debut MARIGOLD BAKES a CAKE (Philomel Books), and has since illustrated nearly a dozen books for kids. Primarily a watercolor artist, Mike uses traditional media to create characters and scenes that are both memorable and endearing in works such as the WARREN & DRAGON series by Ariel Bernstein (Viking Books), YOU MADE ME A DAD by Laurenne Sala (HarperKids), and the Kirkus star reviewed LOVE IS HERE (Philomel,) which he wrote as well as illustrated.
