Born and raised on a sheep farm in country Victoria, Naomi wrote and illustrated her first picture book (a Spot book, complete with outrageous copyright issues) at eight years of age, as a gift for friend's birthday. After many rewarding years in print journalism, she has returned to fiction writing (this time, with original characters) and combined it with her love of the visual arts.
