Jennie Gollehon
Jennie Gollehon is the Nebraska Region Co-Regional Advisor and website coordinator. She writes MG with humor and heart and snappy YA with just the right amount of electric tension. She's an avid reader and a typical overthinker with an insatiable weakness for buying books.
Heather Dawn Torres
Heather Dawn Torres is the Co-Regional Advisor for SCBWI-Nebraska and the newsletter coordinator. She writes stories that inspire imagination, curiosity, and smiles in children—and their parents. Her book, The Tractor Squad (Marble Press) won the 2025 Imadjinn Award for Best Picture Book. When not writing, Heather can be found at her local public library checking out more books than she can carry.
