ARTWORK DUE BY JULY 21, 2025.
It’s that time of year to update our banner on the website! At every conference we have a contest to showcase a new banner with artwork from one of our Ohio North members. The artwork must be appropriate for the children’s book market. As part of the SCBWI brand, the artwork cannot make reference to SCBWI’s previous logos (kites or owls). We would like to see something that relates to our beautiful state of Ohio.
The file should be saved as a 300 dpi in a PNG or JPG file and fit comfortably in these following size dimensions:
SCBWI Ohio North home page: 1905 x 310 pixels
Facebook Header: 1640 x 856 pixels
Facebook Group Header: 820 x 312 pixels
BlueSky: 1500 x 500 pixels pixels

If the artwork does not fit within the guidelines listed above, your entry may be disqualified. The Ohio North Banner Contest will be judged by our Art Director on Faculty and the winner will be announced at our fall conference - Where Stories Take Flight - on Saturday, October 4th, 2025.
*The winner of the Ohio North Banner Contest will be awarded one critique from any of our conference faculty.
**Participants in the Banner Contest do not need to register or attend the conference to win.
