Design our 2027 MayFest website banner!
The contest runs from October 16, 2026 to January 9, 2027.
The winner will be attributed on our website—great for publicity—PLUS you will receive a certificate of merit, free registration to MayFest-San Diego SCBWI's annual one-day conference, a Portfolio Showcase entry, and a critique with the faculty member of your choice.
You must be a San Diego/Imperial County SCBWI member to enter.
What we need:
· Spring theme banner (San Diego themes are welcome!)
· At least 3 details on the banner to be used for buttons on the webpage.
For example, See Megan Bishop's winning banner and details used for the 2025 MayFest Website here and Cheryl Boeller’s winning banner and details used for the 2026 MayFest Website here. **(Please note the location of the text information as well as the transparent band across the top of both pages—the MayFest 2027 page will have similar text placement.)
Banner Size: 3200 x 1600 (72 ppi or higher)
