Fall Workshop & Critique

Join us for a day of learning and opportunity! Sign up for one of our morning workshops taught by four special guests: art director Sarah Hokanson, agent Jennifer Mattson, and editors Karen Boss and Melissa Manlove. In the afternoon, you’ll join a breakout session by a published children’s author or illustrator of your choice AND a 1 1/2-hour First Look critique by one of our Special Guests. That's right, every attendee will get their first pages or artwork looked at by a special guest! Located in Millcreek, Utah.

A Successful Spring Retreat!

Thanks to everyone who joined us at our Spring Retreat in Bear Lake, March 13-17, 2024. We had an absolute blast with our three editors in residence and our talented attendees from across Utah and Idaho. We wrote, we illustrated, we critiqued, we listened, we learned, we laughed. And we're going to make it even better next year. We hope to see YOU there in 2025!
