April Meeting-Create Date: Put into practice lessons from our MFA in a Day conference

On April 11th we held our MFA in a Day event. We started with a workshop by Eliza Kinkz to find Humor and Joy in Your Creative Process. Next, we were able to Ask a Bookseller! Anything with local bookstore co-owner Kalena Miller.  Drew Brockington shared All About Graphic Novels followed by Research for Historical Novels with Darlene P. Campos. Each session offered a variety of useful and inspiring information to help us on our writing journey. For the April meeting we will recap the sessions and discuss lessons learned, how to apply those lessons and the benefits of such an event. If you weren’t able to attend the MFA in a day, attending this meeting will be the next best thing!
