PAL stands for "Published and Listed." Books and magazine articles are considered PAL when they are published by traditional publishing houses that do not charge money to author or illustrators.

The Midsouth maintains a list of PAL members who are open to being contacted by schools, librarians, book stores and other event organizers to book speaking or teaching engagements. You must be a current Premium member of SCBWI with PAL status to be included on this list. The list is open to members living in Kentucky and Tennessee, or to members from states that border KY or TN who are open to being contacted for speaking engagements inside Kentucky and Tennessee. If you are a PAL member who does presentations and would like to be included, please fill out and submit THIS FORM.
