17 – Louisville Online Meetup
Louisville area writers and illustrators are welcome! We will catch up with each other, offer encouragement and tips for improving craft, and share work. There will be time for several authors to read a portion of their work and receive feedback. (Authors are given approximately ten minutes for their turn, so each will have to decide how to split their time. More reading equals less time for feedback. Around 250 - 500 words seems to work well in the time allotted.)

Join us to kick off our critique work with a casual coffee and first pages meetup! This event will be for SCBWI members only, but if you know someone interested, I am happy to connect with them for how to join!
Please RSVP to Hope Bissell if you're attending by July 23. For the first pages exercise, please bring a printed copy of a first page you have written/illustrated/mocked up. If you do not have access to a printer, let me know, and I can print yours! As we fill out our calendar with more critique events, I am hoping to move longer excerpts to Google docs.
