The Student Advocates for Speech Program, a collaboration between SCBWI and The National Coalition Against Censorship to train high school students in the underlying issues related to freedom of speech and expression.
A stipend of $1500 is awarded each month to organizations or individuals selected by the Steering Committee for their outstanding work in the children’s book field.
