Welcome to SCBWI California: San Francisco North and East Bay!

SCBWI SF North & East Bay serves Alameda, Contra Costa, Lake, Marin, Mendocino, Napa, Solano, and Sonoma counties. We're a diverse and vibrant community of writers and illustrators focused on creating children's literature. Through workshops, critiques, networking events, and our Oktoberfest conference, we help each other grow as creators and storytellers. You can select your events of preference and receive announcements just for those events.

Join us to share craft and industry insight, connect with fellow creatives, socialize, and celebrate! Our special guest this month is Lex Fajardo, Eisner Award winning cartoonist, creator of the Kid Beowulf Graphic Novel Series, and editorial director of the Charles M. Schultz Studio! This event is FREE and IN-PERSON! (Registration is kindly requested.)
