Paige Terlip Speaker Series
Want to know more about how to find and work with a literary agent? In this three-part speaker series, Paige Terlip of the Andrea Brown Literary Agency will discuss how to hook an agent, how to establish a good relationship with an agent after you hook one, and an intro to contract negotiations for writers. Register to attend one or two of the talks, or bundle all three for a discount! Members and non-members are welcome to register! School Visit Networking Group Meeting
Are you interested in visiting schools and presenting your books to students and teachers? Are you not sure what you should charge or how to get school visit gigs? Do you want to improve your presentation skills and need ideas to make your presentations more interactive? This group is for you! Come connect with other authors who do school visits. Proposals Submitted for OKTOBERFEST 2025 - Under Review!
The conference theme is "Recharge Your Creative Life". We are currently reviewing all the proposal submissions we received for 50 minute breakout sessions and panel discussions around the following topics: writing, illustrating, traditional publishing, self-publishing, school visits, etc. ANNOUNCEMENTS will be made by or before July 1. Thank you to everyone who submitted a proposal!
