Featured Illustrator: September

September's Featured Illustrator is Gillian Wynne Grimm. Gillian grew up in places all over the Pacific Northwest, but she calls Oregon “Home.” A self-proclaimed ‘late-bloomer’ in the arts, her delightful collage work is singularly playful and fanciful - it invites the viewer to engage their imagination and wonder about the story being told - a very useful gift for an illustrator to have! Click the link to see more of her work.

Featured Tile Artist - Jordan Kim

Each season we showcase the work of one of our Oregon Illustrators. This Fall we're featuring Jordan Kim. Jordan's work often focuses on the natural world as well as moments of connection within our human community. She creates worlds from cut paper using tiny scraps of color and texture to build layers into vibrant illustrations filled with movement, story, and wonder. Her goal is to spark connection: to remind us to honor our connection to each other and the natural world. Jordan is also Oregon's Co-Illustrator Coordinator. • • • If you would like to be featured as our seasonal artist, contact Robin at: [email protected], or Jordan at: [email protected].
