Welcome to SCBWI Oregon!

Covering the state of Oregon, our region is led by Regional Advisor Laura Byrd, with support from Illustrator Coordinator Robin Chilstrom and an Advisory Committee. As volunteers, our goal is to help our members learn their craft and grow as creators and kidlit enthusiasts.

Featured Tile Artist - Francie Towne

Each season we feature a different Illustrator's work on our homepage. Francie Towne is featured this winter. She lives in a small, noisy house in Bend, Oregon with three October-loving kids, a nerdy, chemistry-teaching husband and a cat named Figgy Pudding. If you would like to be featured as our seasonal artist, contact Robin at: oregon-ic@scbwi.org
